Please Help my Sister decide - 1 cat or 2 cats?

Hi Kitty Friends,
I myself am actually a dog owner.. but I do enjoy cats too.

I rescued a kitten last wed (4/30). He is about 7 weeks old. He was running around by a busy road, and he was pretty sick. he's been to a vet and doing better now.

Though I am posting this to help my sister decide.
My Sister already has a 1 year old cat.. and is thinking about taking this little guy.

So if you could please click on this link below to a video of this kitty (for my sister) and leave a comment to tell her the pros and cons of having 2 cats. I'd appreciate it.

I have 4 cats myself. I love each of them very much. I think your sister should definitely think hard about it. If she does take the new kitten Duffy will most likely not be fond of him at first. It will take time for them to get along together. I strongly suggest she talk to her vet about a good way of introducing a new kitten and what to expect. Also the kitten will need vaccines and to be neutered. With all of that aside, 2 cats are twice the fun of 1! It's a lot of fun to watch them play with each other. I think that you can see more of their individual personalities when they have a companion. Two of my cats are about 6 months apart and they have a ball together. Every morning they chase each other around the house and wrestle. Occasionally 2 of them will get into a little spat, but nothing extreme mostly just hissing and swatting. I really enjoy their company. If your sister really enjoys Duffy, then I'm sure she will enjoy another little guy.

Thank You for your input.. I posted it on the youtube page so my sister can see.. she is still "thinking" about it. Duffy is her first own actually cat (we had past family cats) so she is extra careful and nervious about "changing" things with Duffy. Though I know things would be fine.

So, did she take the kitten? I have 2 cats and i think its great! They play and cuddle all the time!
