Anyone in Michigan want a beautiful cat?

After 5 years, I believe we have come to the sad truth that we can no longer keep our cat. My husband has had recurring coughing attacks since we got her. We also are about to finish our basement remodel and she has recurring UTI's that make her pee outside the box. It hasn't been a problem up until now because we could just put junk carpet in the basement and cut it off as she peed on it, but that will no longer be the case. We have had her on meds that temporarily fix the issue but it comes right back. She is a siamese lynx mix with an extremely long body that the vet says makes it hard for her to empty her bladder thus the UTIs. We love her deeply and are heartbroken at the the thought of having to give her away, but after 5 years I can't deal with the pee anymore and I know if she ruins my new carpets I will be furious. Please let me know if you can help and would be willing to take her. We'd be willing to drive her about anywhere in Michigan for her to have a new home.
